The final meters of the vertical race at the IATF Trail Hunt with @ephantus.mwangi.njeri — I think I'm enjoying short races more and more!
I had two intense days in Innsbruck. There’s a special vibe when competing on the trails where you usually train. Already felt really good during the vertical on thursday, but on friday during the 24km pursuit race the legs just wouldn't stop turning. In the end, I won the race cause Ephantus, who reached the finish line in first position, received a 5 min penalty after missing a turn. I'm sry for him, because he was faster than me that day and would have deserved it! Nevertheless very very happy with my spring form 🤟 Next up: the one and only Zegama.

Playing the yoyo game with @francesco.puppi last sunday 🪀 - him attacking, me trying to hold on somehow for 3h. In the end, the lights went out on my side and @francesco.puppi got the very deserved win. Very happy with my second place, and even better to share the podium with my fulminado friend @alexytal_ . Thanks for the battle, what a race. Hopefully I can build on this one!

No better way to start a season 🏖️🍝
Legs didn't disappoint, ligurian views didn't disappoint and the focaccia didn't disappoint either. Very happy with the 🥇 at Andersen Trail yesterday, which was our selection race for the trail distance at the European Championships in June. Winter training worked well as it seems, so I'm excited for the next one - Chianti 50k.
