For years, this place exerted a quiet gravitational pull on me — a threshold between Earth and orbit.
Access was not immediate. It required time, negotiation, and permission — as if the site itself demanded consent.
During exposure, the invisible fields of the satellite dishes inscribed themselves into the emulsion of my 8×10 negatives. Frequencies designed to travel beyond the atmosphere briefly collided with a light-sensitive surface. The material registered what the eye cannot perceive.
The film seemed close to rupture.

Using plaster, I preserve the delicate structures of snow – along with its impurities and chemical traces.
The result: sculptures that capture a fleeting moment forever. Snow that has long melted lives on in a new form.
Working with my self-built pinhole cameras is the purest form of photography for me – just light, time, and silver gelatin paper…
