olu is one of those people you meet and just immediately see the light within. we met eight years ago, while he was a student at UIC. he had just dropped the first @prgrssn line - Black Women Are The Future. watching his fashion, his art, his activism grow over the past several years has been a real treasure to witness. this weekend olu leaves chicago for the first time, and i know this city will feel that loss, but new york is gaining a real special talent, and i can’t wait to see it explode even brighter.
