Beyond excited! My new short film 𝟹𝟷𝟻 is part of Doc Fortnight 2024 at @themuseumofmodernart in New York. Thanks @sophiecavoulacos and @julianross12 for the chance to share this story - personal and political - to such a big audience. And time for a shout-out to those who helped make this possible. Our Digital Culture Grant Scheme will be open again from 26 February 15:00 CET until 4 March 2026 16:00 CET 🎮 In the last round of 2025, Daniel Jacoby (@daniel__jacoby ) and Jaume Ferrete (@mal_ferrete ) got selected with their project 'A Cam'. The project explores the dystopian digital economy through a web-based game where players take on the role of s3x-cam performers. This idle-game lets players collect items ranging from clothing, lighting and remote-controlled sex toys to more futuristic objects including holographic body coverings, cognitive medicines and surgical implants 🔮 Through its abstract, non-explicit design, the game emphasises the slow passage of time - in sharp contrast to an accelerated and highly mediatised environment. Pink specks of dust on a garden with no sun de Marie Zolamian & Daniel Jacoby es la segunda exposición que se realiza en el espacio que compartimos con Bombon Projects en Calle de la Madera 33, Madrid. Las esculturas de Jacoby, construidas a partir de textiles y luces LED, evocan la estética híbrida de los mercados limeños y reflexionan sobre los anhelos de modernidad en el Sur Global. En contraste, las pinturas y dibujos de Zolamian conforman un archivo simbólico de memorias, figuras irreales y paisajes oníricos que oscilan entre la ensoñación y lo documental. Ambos artistas trabajan desde la imaginación como herramienta crítica, construyendo ficciones que reflejan, a su manera, las tensiones de una realidad compartida.
