@daniel__dt21 tells 120 incarcerated men why they should follow Jesus! “One of my favorite scriptures in the Bible is Matthew 20:16. It says, “So the last shall be first, the first shall be last. Many are called upon, the few are chosen.” I would always ask God, “How can you use somebody like me?” I remember I was in ninth grade, 5’4”, 140 pounds, and He told me I was gonna go to the NFL. I’m like, “How you gonna use somebody like me?” You know, I’m so short. I’m not the tallest, not the fastest, not the biggest, you know? But God told me He’d use me to spread the gospel. And the reason you should choose God is because there’s victory against all odds. With God, there’s always a second chance, so many times I wanted to give up and, and throw in the towel. Jesus was always right there beside me. Matthew 5:16 said, “Let your light shine before men, that when they see your good works, they glorify your Father, which is in heaven.” That light is always shining on you, even on your darkest day. You know, there will be days when things won’t go the way that you want them to, but with Jesus, there’s victory against all odds. So if I can leave you guys with anything today, choose Jesus, because He is the only way.”
