Every save, share, playlist placement, and download goes a long way into helping this independent music get legs so I very much appreciate your ears and attention. 🙏 One More Dime is a song about persistent dissatisfaction with the status quo. Where there’s change, we crave stability. Where there’s routine, we crave variety. I like to think I’m not alone in this sentiment, but let me know if I’m just crazy 😅. The song was written a couple years ago in my folks’s barn in PA, road tested with the boys in @woodbelly as an eclectic jam, until finally landing on the hard-driving bluegrass number that sits in front of us today. My immense gratitude to the cast of folks that brought this to fruition. We got an all-star cast of acoustic Colorado musicians with Sam Patterson on guitar and harmonies, Corey Clark on banjo and harmonies, Scott Kwiatek on bass, Dan Andre on Fiddle with myself trying to keep up on mandolin. We threw it down at Honey Thief Studios in Loveland Colorado with Dan Perez manning tracking/mixing and Andy Whilden of Treeline Sound on the master.
