I’m excited to finally share something I’ve been quietly working on for a while: over February and March I’ll be running a small series of online Ableton courses, aimed at musicians and producers at different stages of their journey (don't worry we won't dive into doctoral level stuff straight away!).
There’ll be a few different levels and focuses, from an accessible introduction to music production, through to more intermediate Ableton skills, synthesis, sound design, and even performing live with Ableton. All of the sessions are fully online, small-group, and designed to be practical, creative, and hands-on.
The first course kicks things off with Introduction to Ableton for Musicians – a 4-week seminar for anyone who wants to start producing their own music, but feels a bit blocked, overwhelmed by software, or unsure where to begin. It’s especially for instrumentalists, singers, and composers who want to take their first steps into recording, arranging, and shaping their own tracks.
My aim with all of these is to make music technology feel less mysterious, weird, alientating, less like a terrifying facet of late stage capitalism and more of a creative playground where you can try out ideas. It'll be supportive space where people can learn by doing, ask questions, share work, and develop their own creative workflows.
More details at the link in the bio but if you’re curious, or think one of these might be useful for you, feel free to drop me a message. If it's completely out of your reach financially then do let me know, and I'm sure we can arrange something.

It’s ~~ Bandcamp Friday ~~ and I’m very happy to announce a new record that I recorded with Christina Crowder’s Zamlers Trio! We recorded this for a live studio audience in January 2025 and it’s very exciting to finally get it into the world, released by the Klezmer Institute @klezmerinst
Featuring the amazing Keryn Kleiman on violin, the exceptional @christina_crowder_accordion on accordion and tsimbl, and yours truly on cello.
These are all tunes from the Kiselgof-Makonovetsky corpus, a massive collection of handwritten klezmer manuscripts from Ukraine and Belarus documented in the early 1900s which recently became publicly available, thanks to the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and the Kiselgof-Makonovetsky Digital Manuscript Project (KMDMP).
And a special thanks to @daniel.gouly for the album art!
Launching my new CantorialTechno fusion project @richmixlondon tonight alongside all the mishpoche. Come along. It'll be heymishe af. Just in a weird way. If not I will continue to judge you, as this photo suggests.

Opening the night at @richmixlondon on April 21st will be a set of brand new material from Sephirot aka @daniel.gouly
This new body of work weaves together Dub, Techno, and UK 2-step and Garage with the world of Cantorial music.
Drawing on the “golden age” of recorded chazzanut, the project fragments this profound vocal tradition into a deeply historical and radically contemporary meditation on memory, transmission, and the search for a new sacridity
Not only is @daniel.gouly an expert in his field of electronic and Yiddish music, but these stunning visuals and all of our Klezmargate artwork are thanks to Dan’s designs

Working on some new visuals and music ahead of the @sirfranklondon gig at @richmixlondon produced by @klezmargate . This one has a cantorial vocal that I'm keeping under my hat (or Yamulke) for now. Do we think it's worth trying to do live visuals alongside the live electronics?
