Last week for the premier of  @thechristmasringmovie ! It’s out in theaters today, so please go see this heartwarming tale of a Gold Star Widow who allows herself to find love again in beautiful Columbus, Georgia (home of the infantry, hooooah) . Watching this made me think of my mom who spent 2012 holding down the fort at home while my dad, my brother and me were all deployed to Afghanistan.

I loved being on this set, the whole team made me feel so welcome. Working with @itstylerrussell and @karenkingsbury was completely wonderful from start to finish, they are truly some of the kindest people with whom I’ve worked. I also got to eat delicious food (shout out to the propmaster for his expert culinary skills) in every scene, so I felt like Brad Pitt during every shot.

When old dreams collide… I graduated West Point in May of 2010. I served in the Army from 2010-2015, deploying to Afghanistan in 2012 and Kuwait in 2015. Highlights were Air Assault school in 2009 as a Cadet, and graduating Ranger School in 2011 as a Field Artillery Lieutenant. My goal was to become a Green Beret, but it didn’t quite pan out, didn’t even get a chance to go to selection. I was bummed in the moment, but it all worked out. I wasn’t passionate about continuing a career in the regular Army even though I had some wonderful mentors and leaders that followed that path. Before all of this, I was a theater kid. That was the original dream. So when I resigned my commission in 2015 and eventually found my way back to that childhood dream, I promised myself I would try to tell the stories of those I served alongside. This fall, I’ll be taking on the role of a Special Forces Team Leader in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon *FAN FILM*. Former Team Sergeant @imrussman has been helping me train. I’ll be asking my SF buddies for guidance as well, and not to roast me too hard if my gear is not properly tied down or my compass is accidentally upside down. You can’t spell lost without LT… (I was actually great at navigating) EDIT: This is a fan film inspired by the Tom Clancy universe, I feel like I should have been clearer on that. 📸: @clancyverseinitiative

It was a good Friday for a Good Friday. My nephew will be lord of the dance, just a matter of time, Galway Jesus is absolutely jacked, still don’t understand all the hype around Galway Girl, Spanish Arch was underwhelming, I forgot how much I enjoy the aquarium, trad music really brings the people together, I thought driving on the wrong side of the road would be scarier but I kinda like it

Happy Opening Day! My first commercial with Aaron Judge and Mookie Betts, and they were absolute professionals! Besides my grandpa rolling over in his grave because I’m wearing a Mets shirt, couldn’t have asked for a better shoot! Go Royals! And shout out my work wife @paigewagey for pretending to love baseball as much as I do

Here’s to more period pieces in 2026, to driving more 1930 Model A Sport Coupes, and to this project getting fully made. Oh, and to more of being in front of a @michaelpattidp directed camera as well. This was for a proof of concept of an insanely wild, yet true story, written by @prestongrams and I can’t wait til it’s finished Oh my gosh, forgot to mention, amazing 📸 by: @itslilynelson #nashvillefilm #periodfilm #bootleggers #prohibitionera #antiquecars piercearrow whiskeyrunners tennesseefilmmakers bts

38 Solar Revolutions When I started acting 8 years ago, I set a goal that I would be starring in a Christopher Nolan film in 4 years ago, and I was willing to do anything (and I mean ANYTHING) to achieve that. 4 years came and went and came and went again, not to mention the Odyssey is already cast so I had to change my metrics of success for the next 4 years. Grateful for a wonderful family, collaborative inspiring friends, cool projects I got to work on, reconnecting with my childhood friend who just beat cancer (can I get a hellyeah?!), defending the homestead, the various nocturnal tapes to hold my face together, dumb lifting videos, getting to act on stage for the first time in 23 years, doing it with epic veterans, a nephew born with all the same facial expressions as me, civil war photos with my grandpa, getting to see funny civil war plays on Broadway, assistant directing for the first time. Wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies this year, I’ll save that for the comedown post the day after my birthday. I know I’ve got so much more to give, but man, my 11 year old self would be so pumped and only slightly concerned.
