@daniaudio “The xmax became a crucial master bus finishing stage on this tour (Lana Del Rey), where I used a dual-bus setup to process music and vocals separately. The amazing flexibility that comes with the ability to process the low end, mid and side channels separately on my music bus allowed me to make a perfect space for the vocal bus while keeping the overall mix dynamic and cohesive. This proved especially helpful in such challenging venues like stadiums, not to mention the amazing character and powerful tone control that you get from the xmax. I’m extremely happy with the end result and this is a must-have piece in my rack from now on.” Thank you so much Dani! back when we were at rehearsals putting this show together, i didn’t quite understand where we were going but i think we all knew deep in our heart of hearts to trust 𝓱𝓮𝓻 process.
with lana everything can be a bit enigmatic. that’s probably why i love working with her because it also challenges every preconception or safety blanket that i could resort to when it comes to doing my job.
on this tour, she pushed the boundaries of what a stadium show could be. she broke the rules and did things her own way, and there’s really nothing more beautiful and gratifying than to watch her succeed at that and connect deeply with hundreds of thousands of people who i watched sing and cry every night.
