When I was five, I made a promise to my mother that one day I would give her RM3 million. Twenty-one years later, I’m still working toward that number. Thank you for trusting me when I decided to move to Cyberjaya and build something from zero with the boys. At that time, my focus was just to survive. Over the years, I had to learn money management, discipline, and how to rebuild myself into someone better.
This year, Alhamdulillah, I managed to make a meaningful purchase for her. When I asked her what she wanted, she said, “Beli Saga sudah, nanti jadi beban dekat hang.” That hit my ego in a good way. I refused to let her settle. I wanted her to see that my promise was not empty. So this year, she got what she actually deserves. Now, the remaining balance is RM2.9 million. We’ll get there.
