@dangerfieldsband are a Cape Town-based alternative rock band known for their reverb-soaked blend of post-punk and shoegaze.
Since forming in 2016, they’ve built a reputation for cathartic, emotionally charged live performances and a memorable repertoire of songs. The band is currently recording their next full-length album, set for release in 2026.
For The Good Times Co x @foulplay_presents exciting showcase, “Hey Hey Now Now”, Dangerfields will feature their friends Andre Leo (Medicine Boy, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys) on bass and Dolf Lombard (Halvar, Sold Ash) on drums, and the band will be performing a selection of songs from across their discography, including their latest (not yet released) album.

Event Update – Hey Hey, Now Now
In solidarity with the @womenforchangesa G20 Women’s Shutdown planned on our event date, Friday 21 November. TGTC, together with all the artists and contributors to the event, have decided to postpone Hey Hey, Now Now to a later date.
It just doesn’t feel right to carry on with business as usual when the focus needs to be on such an important cause.
We want to stay true to our values and make space for the awareness and action this moment deserves. All ticket holders will receive full refunds — thank you for understanding and standing with us. 💜✊ #womenforchange #endGBV #purpleforchange
It's 8 years ago almost to the hour, since we played at the 2nd Endless Daze Festival. It was truly a specifically memorable one - I was very sick at the time so we played as if our lives depended on it. We debut’ed the song Storms as the closer, pretty much written to be played on that stage, at that time. Walked off feeling rather emotional, like a weight had been lifted - and then went on to witness @medicine.boy@thee_oh_sees and @moonduoband . What an incredible thing.
