Building off the operational success of the X10D MORSEL and CHADD aerial concealment systems, Ascend is proud to announce support for the Skydio R10 with a dedicated MORSEL configuration engineered specifically for the airframe.
The R10 is an exceptionally lightweight and agile platform built for confined and dynamic non permissive environments where maneuverability and signature matter. Designed in parallel with feedback from Skydio’s engineering team, our approach centered on concealing critical elements of the aircraft while preserving the handling characteristics, endurance, and responsiveness that define the platform.
The result is a purpose built multispectral concealment device designed to reduce visibility signatures without compromising the aircraft’s core performance envelope.
The R10 MORSEL system will be on display at SOF Week at the Skydio booth alongside several emerging Ascend systems. European procurement and distribution will be handled through GearTown Netherlands, Ascend’s exclusive European distributor.

Night operations expose every unnecessary signature. Visible LEDs, illuminated headset components, and frame emissions on traditional FPV systems can compromise both the launch position and the aircraft itself in low light environments.
The AV-14 was designed with no visible light emissions from the frame, preserving concealment for the operator during nighttime FPV employment. MORSEL further reduces visible light emissions across FPV drones and external goggle systems, helping preserve concealment for both the team launching the aircraft and the aircraft once airborne.

HRST from a SA330 Puma Helicopter
HRST (Helicopter Rope Suspension Technique)
French Commando Marine Operator is conducting insertion with a rope deployment bag. Line is back-stacked and maintained, no pre-deployed rope below the aircraft.
On exit, the operator feeds the line directly from the bag, keeping tension consistent through the device.
This technique allows clean deployment, reduced snag profile, and minimal rotor wash interference. It is designed for confined LZs where precision, control, and low signature matter.
