Freedom means stepping into a 3 wheeler, even when it's pouring rain to sing my song about Freedom, Nidahase.
It started to pour rain during the end of our filming for these short reels. My hair got a bit wet and frizzy (I kind of liked it) and there really weren't any indoor places to film nearby.
But there were a few 3 wheelers near the beach and I thought let's try that, so we filmed inside one using a nice back light and the crew holding umbrellas so the camera and they wouldn't get wet.
Was quite fun and cosy 😊

I recently released this Sinhala pop fusion song about Freedom and filmed this short reel at Mt Lavinia Beach in Sri Lanka last Friday with Nerun Kalpajith from Jeeth Studios. Hair and Make up by Daneeka.
It was a rather cloudy day with threats of thunderstorms in the late afternoon, but the rains held off just long enough for us to capture a moody atmosphere.
