An afternoon at the skatepark with @danedanner . Dane is many things, Father, Husband, Artist, shaper, surfer-skater, chainstitch master, and sought after illustrator. If you were to just know his artistic talent, that would be enough to impress. However, what is really striking is the beautiful soul behind the artist. Just a brief talk will leave you feeling valued and seen, an ability deeply treasured in our world. Dane has done many illustrations for us here at Imperfects, and we’re honored every-time we get a chance to work with this legend.

After seeing the original mockup, I knew Clink would work their magic, but this one came out way better than I expected! The simple blocks of contrasting colors allowed for some really fun and amazing embroidery. Just look at that texture on the wolf vs. the sheeps fur! And what a fun logo playing off of the saying "a wolf in sheeps clothing" I'm sure we've all been witness to some fleecing over the years, whether it's with your government, in school or even by your friends and family. @boardroomshow is a wrap in San Diego, the boards were seen, purchases where made and orders were placed. In my biased opinion @boysensurfboards ruled the floor with an authentic display of power and influence. @christianfletcherlives blew in from the Philippines, @williamseansheffey graciously shook all the hands and @andyroy18 looked super heathy! Thanks to all who came out. After talking to Christian I am really excited to grab one of the new models for Panama this season. It is set up specifically to suite CF’s need to get into critical waves early and attack either the foam ball or above the lip. It is an excellent candidate for guys who want to go fast and not skip a beat in their mature years. I also think it serves a duel purpose for younger progression when ordered in the smaller sizes… especially in a pool! To top it all off it dons the above (approved) artwork that was to the best of my abilities. As I tell my kids… there will always be better, faster, more talented people out there so be at odds with yourself when doing whatever you do. This opportunity was 100% the result of right place at right time combined with years of listening and showing up to what is really going on. So that’s it, that’s how I feel and it’s the juice that will get me excited about the next project. O… and @boysensurfboards has shirts hats and boards if you need them.
