V.I Rum Poster
These illustrative posters are from a chapter within my final project, A Sip From My Caribbean Cup, which explores Cuban poster art. There is a deep history within this, starting from Revolutionary propaganda, however the focus here is on Caribbean advertisement and the idea of selling paradise, thanks to it’s sweet resources.
At A Bar, Camille Pissarro Pilon and Celia Cruz Cruzan. An illustrative print from my final collection ‘ A Sip From My Caribbean Cup’. Swipe to read a written Introduction.
A Sip From My Caribbean Cup Final Range, is an imaginative showcase that portrays individuals within an ethereal world of Caribbean landscapes. The merge of digitalized garments onto bodies placed amongst real life scenery has allowed the non-existent to exist during a global pandemic.
The landscape images were captured in the Virgin Islands during a trip in 2019, while the models are simply close friends that were photographed in London during lockdown 2020.
Happy Mother’s Day to beautiful mommy and all the other strong, inspirational mothers out there! Who better to wear one of my favorite prints centered around resilience than HER! Mama in Hurrica 💕, shot by @richfazo
A Camille Pissarro day trip, exploring the city that rooted his work. I found so much joy in experiencing the everyday scenes and landscapes he once studied closely , comparing his painted vision with today’s world through my own lens. To one of the greatest V.I legends 🫡💛🇻🇮
