It’s going to be a grand night for singing. 🎶 Thrilled to be joining the Philharmonic Society of Arlington for a special summer evening of POPS! The music is some of my favorite from musicals (Ragtime, State Fair, The Wizard of Oz, Miss Liberty, and The Sound of Music) alongside moving works by Moses Hogan, Gena Branscombe, and Shawn Kirchner. I’m so honored to be stepping in for the incredible @maestrastephbeatrice and to share the program with the inspiring @orlandocelas in the historic Arlington Town Hall! @psarlington Friday, June 12, 2026 | 7:30

so special and full circle to come back to the place that laid my foundation and see my own play. really moved by the fearlessness of these students, their full body attack on this world and these characters, and their deep trust in the text. also SO great to do a forum with the high schoolers to talk craft and forecast what their own journeys might look like one day, just like so many alumni did for me all those years ago. and the icing on this cake is getting to share this moment with my family, longtime friends and former teachers, and the best collaborator in art and life a girl could ask for, @danconducts . *production photos by morgan sophia photography.

More of this! Always! Honored to have served as Assistant Conductor for the Boston International Symphony Orchestra’s New Year Grand Musical Ball. Inspiring international artists and crowd, thrilling premieres, Strauss and a delightful dance floor! Huge gratitude to Maestro Jorge Soto, the incredible musicians, Olga, Harry, and the entire team at BISO and We Star! Special shout out to some of my favorite Boston sopranos and Ms. Ukraine Universe! What a magical night! Manifesting more excuses to dance with my wife with live orchestra in fancy clothes in 2026!!!

Honored to be one of eight voices performing Humanity by @miladyousufi_ at Mechanics Hall with the Refugee Orchestra Project yesterday. Projects like this remind me why ensemble work matters — individual stories woven into shared sound. In times when division feels loud, making music together feels radical. Special thanks to @danconducts for thinking of me for this important concert, and to @lidiyaconductor for the vision behind the Refugee Orchestra Project over a decade ago — creating a musical home that sheds light on the realities and resilience of refugees and immigrants rebuilding their lives after being uprooted. Thank you for giving this journey a place to call home. #music #advocacy #legacy #collaboration #community

In 2019, conductor Dan Ryan revived Gena Branscombe’s choral-orchestral masterwork Pilgrims of Destiny at Clark University, sparking renewed interest in her life and music. Soon after, he co-founded The Gena Branscombe Project with scholar Kathy Shimeta, with the support of Branscombe’s living family. Today, the organization produces concerts, supports research, publishes newly edited scores, revives Branscombe and her contemporaries, and has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to emerging artists. Dan Ryan serves as a host for Winds of Change, continuing this mission to restore historic women composers to the concert stage. Join us as we bring this remarkable repertoire back into the hall. Working on this piece has felt so poignant during this time when over 35,000 Iranians have been murdered at the hand of their own government and ICE has been terrorizing people here at home. Hoping for a free Iran and for freedom to be restored in the US. Humanity by @miladyousufi_ with @refugeeorchestraproject March 1st, 2026 (Premiere) at @mechanicshall Conducted by @lidiyaconductor Music Directed by @danconducts
