More than 4 years, 22 countries and hundreds of shows. Stadiums, arenas, festivals, nightclubs, theaters, award shows, radio shows, TV specials, live streams, music videos, corporate sponsorships, parties and…pancakes? La Industria really gave me la combi completa y mas.
The amount of love and gratitude I have for this camp couldn’t be summed up in a caption. I left a piece of my soul on every stage and a piece of my heart with every person. I feel so lucky to leave with forever memories, forever friends and a fire in me that will never go out.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible for me and supported me throughout —family, friends, coworkers and fans— and thank you to my teammates who made this the best experience. Love you all forever ❤️🔥 FUIMOS!

@miamiheatdancers alumni weekend was epic! I still can’t believe I get to say I’m a part of this extraordinary sisterhood and the @miamiheat family as a whole.
The laughs and smiles were abundant and the hugs were extra tight, but the most memorable part for me was @clarafication3 ’s speech…
If there’s anyone I owe all of it to, it’s her. I don’t know how Clara saw all the potential she did in little 18-year-old Nicole, but from the day we met and for the next 6 years she opened door after door for me. She gave me the job, gave me my look, gave me a leadership role, gave me an internship, gave me a coaching position, and above all, she gave me the confidence I needed to become the performer and professional I am today. She didn’t make it easy; she pushed me to work harder than I ever have for all of those things and more, and when I left for new ventures I always wondered if I made her proud.
Flash forward 6 years to the MHD Reunion brunch... During her speech, Clara began to talk about her favorite part of working with the dancers— it was the individual transformations we all went through from our first season to our last. At this point she’s worked with hundreds of women before and after me, and in a room with all of us together she went out of her way to say I was her most memorable one. Of all the incredible things I’ve accomplished and experienced in that arena, that meant more to me than all of them combined (and I obviously lost it). Simply put, “Nic” wouldn’t exist if there was no Clara and I will forever and ever and ever be grateful to her for that. Clara gave me my flowers that day and this is me giving them back. 💐

There are so many more women who took the time to say the kindest and most validating things to me that weekend and I’m still brought to tears when I think about every word. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday both on and off ig. ♡ I love and appreciate you guys a ton.
Now that we got that out of the way, I actually want to take the time to explain where I’ve been. To sum it up in one line, I needed to focus on my mental health and social media had no place in that process.
While I may never post in detail the things I personally experience, there is still a part of me that knows by sharing I can help others. One thing I would like for people to know is anxiety is much more than “worry” and depression is much more than “sadness.”
To anyone who suffers in silence, I don’t want to tell you that you will be okay, I want to remind you that you are okay. Your life is worth living and you have people who love you no matter what.
To the people in my life who remind me of that whenever my mind tells me otherwise, I owe you everything.
If none of this hits home with you, consider yourself very lucky and take this as a reminder that what you’re seeing from someone on the outside can be drastically different from what’s happening to them on the inside.
If you or someone you know deals with mental health issues, you can swipe for some ig accounts that have helped me feel a lot less isolated, learn, cope and even laugh about it sometimes.
Maybe I’ll post more about this, maybe I won’t, but I’m proud of myself for this alone. Thank you to those of you who expressed their concern for me or silently stood by my side while I was in the dark, and thank you to everyone who is still here and has hyped me up now that I’m back.
Will I disappear again? I hope not, but until then I’ll be making the most of the light while it’s here.
