A lot of people have asked me how I’m doing since my mom passed… and it wasn’t until I heard this song that I could put any sort of words to it. I feel like everyone is searching for me to tell them I’m okay, or to completely breakdown, a lot of great friends and strangers have reached out offering condolences, have offered kind words, and some unfortunately, have just made the decision on how I should feel for me. Right now, not standing still works best for me. Continuing to move keeps me aligned. I’m not sure how long that will be my mindset, but right now , as I try to navigate a world without my mama, it’s what I need for me. Thank you @dancewithgt for creating something with me to this song, there is no truer therapy than dance and right now, it’s where I need to be. Meet George!!! From Sacramento, CA, he loves dancing because he loves the freedom of expression that comes along with it and the connection he gets to build with the people he dances with. Conversation with no words. He’s most excited for SAD because it’s RUN by the BEST people! 😂 It’s in one of the biggest dance hubs in the country!
