March gratitude✨ & My 🧠 space right now that might help you by sharing! - It’s long, so be ready or just scroll lol 😜 Okay, where do I begin? I spent a lot of time alone growing up, which made me naturally introspective, But from 30 to now, 35, I’ve been going much deeper within myself, more intentionally than ever. In my 30s, that work became about my younger self - my neglected younger Dassy Lee. I started really seeing her, embracing her, and being there for her in a way she didn’t have before. I went inward because I could feel a pattern. Something in me was affecting my dance career, and my relationships with myself and others. I didn’t fully understand it yet, but I knew something needed to be unlocked for me to reach my full potential. This process has felt so exposing - almost like being naked - and really uncomfortable at times, but it’s also helped me grow tremendously. I understand myself on a much deeper level now, and everything has started to CLICK! It’s kind of crazy!!! One piece of my childhood unlocked something, and suddenly everything began to make sense. As I understand myself more, I understand others more too. why people are the way they are. It’s shifted how I see the world, with more love and deeper clarity and discernment. And I feel so liberated. I’ve always been ambitious. I grew up with very little, often having to give things up, and I always wanted to change that reality for myself and my family. As this process brought me clarity, I’ve fallen deeply in love with myself in a way I hadn’t before. Because of that, I know I’m going to create so much more in my future and I’m really excited for that. Now it feels like everything is unlocking and aligning on a much bigger scale. I know there’s no limit for me. Self-growth is lifelong, and I’m just getting started. I’m excited for what’s ahead. This internal work has been so liberating, and I truly believe everyone should look inward at themselves even it feels naked af lol Give a hug to your 4–6 year old self 😉 and say, “I got you & I love you.” Just something I wanted to share. I love you ❤️

3.18 ♓️ On my 35th birthday, I decided to learn how to shoot a gun for the first time with @samosoto , alongside my badass ladies @sophia.lavonne @graciasmarlene 🔫😜 I loved the experience so much! I was a bit scared at first, but I’ve always wanted to learn since I was young, and I’m so glad I finally took the chance. Thank you @samosoto @bboyfantum for teaching us with such strong safety measures. I felt completely safe learning from true professionals! And thank you @sophia.lavonne @graciasmarlene for being down to join my spontaneous birthday adventure 🥰

The 98th Academy Awards #oscars Some Behind the Scenes! ✨ Help me tag everyone I missed! 🙏🫶❤️ How can I express how I feel right now… When I first got an email from my agent asking a few questions related to Korean dance, I wasn’t sure what kind of job I was getting into. Once I got the job and heard it was for the Oscars, I was excited! But the first day I went to wardrobe and they put me in Hanbok, I almost shed tears and became so excited to perform my culture on the OSCAR stage. The excitement and not be able to tell ppl around was def hard 😂 I could have never, ever imagined that I would be doing what I did yesterday on that stage. Being surrounded by a whole Asian cast, celebrating my culture… so many of us cried during rehearsals. I will forever cherish this moment and carry this pride for my 조상님들, 우리 할머니, 할아버지, and 아빠 🕊️ 첫날 wardrobe 갔을때 한복을 입혀보길래 설마설마 했는데… 옷 입자마자 눈물터지고, 리허설할때는 가수들과 함께 또 한번 눈물터트리고, 정말 자랑스러웠던 첫 오스카!! 이 주어진 3분을 위해 진짜 잠도 안자가며 피땀흘리며 일하신 모든분들! 너무너무 감사드리고 수고하셨고 자랑스럽습니당! 애기때 천쪼가리들고 휘저으며 한국무용 따라하곤 했었는데 현실이되었다!!! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What a life I’m living!!! #케데헌 #kpopdemonhunters @kpopdemonhuntersnetflix @theacademy
