When I majored dance in college, I hoped to choose “Chinese dance” as my main subject of study. However, teacher suggested me to major in “Modern dance” in the end because of my figure. 😥 (love Modern dance without doubt too!) After learning pole dance, I’ve always wanted to make choreography that combines Pole + Chinese dance. Surprisingly, teacher @chingflee sent me a video of Chinese dance when I was stuck on the inspiration for choreography, which made me determined on the theme for EG Asia. (Thanks to @chingflee 🌸） What I presented was one of China’s four beauties, 楊貴妃. The main idea came from my body shape😆 Not only to reviving the beauty of 楊貴妃, who was too pretty to make the flowers shy, I hope my exquisite dancing also conveys the beauty of different body types to the audience. Speaking to the hardest part in the competition, you all know that ankles will be extremely sore if you walk in high heels without pole support🤧 Taking clothes off while spinning in circles showed the strength of the ankles. Apart from that, my biggest demon was #pdflickflac in high heels, thanks god I did it without mishap!🥰 To be honest, I was quite frustrated with my performance on the stage coz I didn’t dance as well as usual in rehearsals… (I presume the results will be either extremely good or extremely bad, though.) ✨Unexpectedly, I got double prize in the end— No.1 (theater) and MVP! 🥇✨ Thanks to @yoko_polechair @ms.lizard @tatibluuue @poledancer_dk @flyflyheeing @k.rina4 @nami_925fuel for loving my dance work! It wasn’t easy for me to reach Star level. 馬躍青山春色近，福臨門戶歲華新~ Happy Year of the Horse to all our friends across the world who celebrate LNY! 🐎🎇🧧 We’re kicking off the spring with our Tang Sancai (唐三彩) line, featuring three sets in our (absolutely freezing) photoshoot with 玉人閣古風工作室 ( @yurenge2020 ) at Qingtiangang Grassland (擎天崗) in Yangmingshan National Park (陽明山國家公園), Taiwan! To open our collection we have the PEGASUS / 天馬行空 set, inspired by the drip-glaze effect used in Sancai ceramic vessels. The model for this set, Mouse ( @dancer_mouse ) is a professional dancer (and @red.sugarx ’s first pole teacher💕) who perfectly embodies the vivacity of Tang Dynasty beauty.
