So we’re building it. REVEL is more intimate than a festival. And more expansive than a retreat. I’m eye to eye with a beautiful and curious creature, Spencer Jacobson. We’re in that quiet, electric moment at the end of an ecstatic dance when the music and movement have faded, leaving deep presence and stillness. Spencer was looking for someone to execute his vision for his project, REVEL… and wondered if it might be me 👀 On one hand, it wasn’t that smart of an idea. I was already holding multiple worlds and only five weeks out from Hawaii Tantra Festival. Why would a mermaid from Hawaii go to a mountaintop in Colorado? ⛰️ And yet… somehow I already knew it was so. My mind didn’t understand, but my heart and body trusted. So I said yes. On paper, it doesn’t add up. I’ve been working long hours for months now, and it’s hard to explain why this matters… or why I would give so much of my time and energy to it. But internally, it feels like stepping into a current already moving 🌊, something ancient and wise. Dozens of world-class facilitators are coming together to weave something none of us could create alone. REVEL is an intimate community gathering at the intersection of ritual, dance, embodiment, and real connection. Not a festival you disappear into or a retreat you passively receive. It’s something you help create. I can’t promise you what it will be like. But when I close my eyes and feel, I get chills. If you’ve been following me for the past few years, you know that most of the events that I’m putting together are week long retreats in various locations. I’m really excited to pivot to be a part of creating more events locally here in my community to be able to drop in with the people I love in the community and grow it. I just completed the first 5 days of the Embodied Eros Facilitator training, and I feel such deep reverence for this work. Never has a training felt so home to my soul, so innate with who I am at my core. I am leaving feeling more alive, more connected to who I am and why I am here. The potency of group fields is where the magic lives. To be seen and supported in the places where I feel stuck, to look around the circle, and make eye contact with people who love me, and want to see me in my power.. is truly the most precious gift. Layers have been shed, new imprints have been made.. and this is only the beginning. So grateful to be in this training with so many dear ones and to continue to expand into more of who we are together.
