[Visual description for accessibility: A vibrant stage performance featuring a group of dancers and acrobats under dramatic pink, purple, and orange lighting. Several performers balance in pairs, with one person holding another upside down in handstands, creating striking vertical shapes. Other dancers move across the stage in the background, adding to the sense of motion and energy. A light haze and colourful spotlights enhance the dynamic, high-intensity atmosphere of the performance.]

Happy International Jazz Day! 🎷✨️🎺
We’re taking a moment to look back at our "Theo x Travis: Jazz is Dead" event from last June, co-presented by Luminato Festival, supported by TO Live.
Jazz is an ongoing conversation, a powerful force for expression, a catalyst for change, and a culture that continues to bring people together across the globe.
We’re incredibly grateful for how the art of jazz united these two phenomenal artists to create such a captivating performance. ✨

Catch NIMBA by Kira Arts this June as part of the Luminato Festival in Toronto.
📆 June 19–20, 2026
📍 Meridian Arts Centre, Lyric Theatre, North York
Rooted in two powerful symbols of Guinea — the Nimba (N’Dimba) mask of the Baga people, revered as a Universal Mother, and Mount Nimba, a UNESCO World Heritage mountain whose fifty springs sustain life — NIMBA fuses living traditions with contemporary performance through striking physicality.
Through dance, circus, and music, bodies rise from the ground and carve space in motion, carrying memory and embodying the deep connection between land and people. As rural and urban worlds collide, landscapes shift, reshaping territory and identity alike.
Moving through spirituality, conflict, fire, destruction, renewal, and abundance, NIMBA channels the forces that shape both land and human life. It is at once ancestral and urgent, a performance that speaks to our bond with the Earth and the future we are creating.

✨ Appreciation Post ✨
One month ago today we opened ZAYO and so much could not have been possible if it weren’t for @move_with_timea Executive Director and Curator of @danceimmersion and the @danceimmersion team!
Many hours, effort, faith and belief fuelled this production. I believe Timea is offering artists a rare chance to dream and discover what they are made of. Having the chance to dream was always present when manifesting this show. So I want to give this woman and this organization their continual flowers.
Thank you for all you do and all you bring to the ecosystem of the arts as you embody change by taking action and creating a vision that many can follow.
