They took me back to the little kid who used to dream about who Iād become ā not just in the arts, but in life. That kid had visionā¦ even when the path wasnāt clear.
Now I can see it ā there have always been two sides of me: the artist and the professional.
The artist in me has been developed through passion, creativity, and persistence. Heās the storyteller, the dreamer, the one who never let go of the vision.
But these photos made me realize something just as powerfulā¦ Iāve grown into a professional Iām proud of too.
Someone who leads. Someone who supports. Someone who shows up with purpose ā especially in spaces of leadership, education, and uplifting others on their journey.
Iāve lived through hard times, growth, and challengesā¦ and Iām still navigating them. But today, Iām choosing gratitude. Because that little kid would be proud of the man Iāve become.
And Iām proud of me.
The man in these photos knows how to sit in uncertainty, trust the process, and trust that every lesson will reveal itself in time.
Iām excited ā not just for where my artistry will take me, but for how my professional self will continue to growā¦ to lead, to pour into educators, and to make an impact beyond myself.
I never want to stop dreaming ā for that kid, and for who Iām still becoming.
