It’s graduation season! And we are kicking the celebration off with @tylaahowell , who is graduating with her Masters of Arts Administration from The University of Oklahoma! Congratulations Tyla!
A graduate of Point Park University, Tyla first came to DC NEXT in 2016 when she was a student at Tri-Cities High School and training at @ballethnic . Tyla came back to be a DC INTERN with us in 2017, and after graduation, Tyla returned to Georgia to dance for The Georgia Ballet. While back in Georgia, Tyla danced for Dance Canvas professionally for several projects in 2020, and in Dance Canvas’ performance for Georgia Tech’s Skyline Series in 2021. Tyla has also been a model for @shocphoto on several ballet shoots, including Shoccara Marcus’ @bronzeinfirst poster series. We have loved being part of Tyla’s career path for the past 10 years! We are so proud of you Tyla and can’t wait to see where your NEXT steps take you! ✨

(Pro-tip: If you can’t make your registered class, please release your tickets so someone on the waitlist can join the fun!)
☁️ Weather Policy: We are a proud outdoor greenspace and embrace the elements! Classes stay outside and won’t move indoors for regular rain, though we may shift to the covered Pavilion if the grass gets too wet. In the event of dangerous weather, we will email Eventbrite registrants, post updates here, and send a text alert.
