SPOTLIGHT OF THE WEEK 💥💥💥
I am Okeke Chinwendu Oluchi aka Ruby, a Nigerian dancer, dance model, dance teacher, and the founder of Dance With Ruby. My work blends skill, purpose, and care, with a strong focus on ballet and teaching young dancers. As a teacher, I care deeply about giving children a solid foundation while helping them grow in confidence, discipline, and self-expression. Beyond dance, I roller skate, practice judo, and swim. These movement disciplines continue to shape my strength, coordination, and physical awareness. I love swimming especially, it grounds me and reminds me of flow, control, and breath, all of which show up in my dancing and teaching. As a teacher and performer, I’m passionate about creating spaces where young dancers are nurtured with patience, confidence, and joy.
Through teaching, modeling, and performance, I continue to explore movement as a language,one that builds discipline, confidence, and self-belief.
