On Friday 13th, 2026, at Kurrawa Park Boardwalk in Broadbeach, @perrycrosss and @danboardo took on The 100km Roll and Run - and what a night it was.
From 5:00pm to 3:45am, in pouring rain and testing conditions, they lapped the boardwalk until the full 100km was complete. Perry navigated his power wheelchair using his chin control, while Dan ran an incredible 60km. Dan's mum Jane Boardman also rode the full 100km in an amazing show of support.
Supporters braved the weather to run and roll beside them, and the night was dedicated to Cure Crusader Ambassador Kurt Drysdale.
Together, this powerful show of friendship and resilience has raised $13,603 and counting. Thank you to all those who gave generously.

On Friday 13 February from 5:00pm, Dan and Perry are swapping a night out in Broadbeach for an extraordinary challenge - a 100km overnight relay along the Kurrawa Park Boardwalk.
This is no ordinary endurance feat. Perry, a C2 ventilated quadriplegic, will navigate his 300kg power wheelchair using chin control, while Dan tags in and out beside him. Together, they’ll lap between 1st Avenue and Hedges Avenue until they reach the 100km mark around 5:00am Saturday morning.
This fundraiser celebrates an eight-year friendship and a shared commitment to pushing boundaries - all while raising vital funds and awareness.
