Friends and neighbors! We walk the crumbling streets of an empire in decline. As it desperately thrashes to maintain global dominance, the empire’s mask has fallen, and its true face has been revealed. The illusion of American democracy shattered by the realization that bourgeois elections do not provide us the means to shape our political system, leaving us feeling helpless in the face of cruelty beyond comprehension. But as our false consciousness recedes, we find hope in the same place it has always been, in each other. Through solidarity, we find strength.

Let our art and music scenes be a vessel for solidarity! Let us come together to show both the enemy and each other, that we do not walk alone. If they target one of us, they will be met by all of us, standing side by side against fascism, imperialism, racism, queer and trans antagonism, white supremacy and white nationalism.
