We wrote some of the songs before we even did our first gig and some of them in the same year as the release. To finally release them to you is something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Tonight we’ll celebrate the release with a new setlist for the very first time at Neushoorn Café Leeuwarden! Dit jaar live op Eagle’s kingsday: Dan and the Middle Men! 🎸🇳🇱 Deze bizar gave band is een energieke alternatieve rockband uit Groningen. De band is ontstaan uit het soloproject van de Ierse frontman Daniel Devoy, die in 2020 vanuit Dublin naar Nederland verhuisde. Tijdens de coronapandemie vond hij in Groningen zijn ‘middle men’, waarna het project uitgroeide tot een volledige band. Muziek en Stijl • Genre: Een krachtige mix van alt-rock, garagerock en garagepunk. • Geluid: Kenmerkend zijn de zware, “fuzzy” gitaarriffs en diepe grooves. De band wordt vaak vergeleken met acts als Royal Blood, Rage Against the Machine en Queens of the Stone Age. • Hoogtepunt: Hun single “The Haze” werd door 3voor12 uitgeroepen tot een van de beste tracks van Groningse bodem in 2022. Live Reputatie De band staat bekend om hun “kinetische” livesets en heeft inmiddels op diverse podia in binnen- en buitenland gestaan, waaronder als support voor de Britse rockband FM en op festivals zoals Oerrock, het Bevrijdingsfestival en niet te vergeten bij Graspop en bij een eerdere editie van Eagle’s kingsday!!
