Fancied eating a steak, so cooked one in the woods. Here’s a fact…… cooking and eating a steak in the woods top trumps cooking and eating one in a kitchen. I’m so incredibly lucky to have lovely places like this on my doorstep. There’s also a VERY important message at the end… #wildcooking #getoutsidemore #walesā¤ļø #mentalhealthmatters #boysgetsadtoo

FINALLY…!! I’m back, and look how happy I am!! Been a rough year or so. Smashed my ankle to bits, then damaged a nerve in my shoulder which rendered my left forearm, and hand completely numb (couldn’t even hold a pencil) which led to a loss of fitness and loss of motivation. When walking up the stairs hurts, or you are unable to zip up your own coat the idea of getting across the Glyders just seemed impossible. But, in order to process and navigate the bullshit around us all, in this laughing stock of a country, I had to remind myself how stunning where I’m fortunate enough to live is, and how my own mental wellbeing relies on being out of breath on the side of a mountain. Yesterday managed to get up to the top of Cadair Berwyn. One of the first mountains I ever did and it was stunning. The ankle was fine. My arm/shoulder is back to normal and I f**king loved it. #hiking #mountains #outdoors #getoutside

You have to be stood near the Kyosfossen waterfall in order to fully appreciate its size! It falls 93m and is so wide you can feel its power through your feet! Incredible day!!! #travel #norway #kyosfossen #waterfall #naturephotography #getoutside #explorenorway #flamrailway

There’s a bit of Norway spam coming! Warning y’all now! The back home blues are in full swing! What an absolutely stunning corner of the world Norway is! It is stunning no matter where you are looking. From the enormous fyords surrounded by right big mountainous lumps, to the beautiful valleys and rivers being supplied by god knows how many waterfalls to the quaint towns that are absolutely spotless. Quickly stopped my bike to grab this shot and it really doesn’t do the place justice!!! #norway #fyords #norwegianfyords #photo #photography #travel #travelnorway #scenery #mountains #mountainsarecalling #mountainsofnorway

Was going to wait until I got home before filling up the grid with Norway pics, however today has been absolutely unreal so this one from today is going up.! FlĆ„m is absolutely STUNNING from every angle. We headed into the mountains in an old train and saw more waterfallls in one day than I’ve seen throughout my life. We zip lined 1400m into the valley below before picking up a couple of bikes as we chose to do the 18km ride back to the port. A little sample of the local beer and back onboard for a little chill before the white party tonight. FlĆ„m is the most beautiful place I have ever been. The snow capped mountains, the roaring rivers, the enormous waterfalls and the crystal clear water make this place one I’ll still be thinking about in many years. Thank you so so much @missdellywelly1 for making all this possible ā¤ļø #norway #mscvirtuosa #flam #flamnorway #mountains #waterfalls #photography #mountainbiker #flĆ„mzipline

Lovely stroll around Bodnant for the first time this bank holiday. There is so much to see and some really lovely places to stop and take it in. Crowds really weren’t bad at all. On the face of it, as we weren’t members of the national trust it appeared rather expensive, however please don’t let that put you off. Visitors will drop off with bad weather and over the winter and they still need to pay the staff who do an amazing job of keeping the place absolutely bloody lovely! Get on Bodnant garden, go sniff a flower. #bodnantgarden #getoutside #wales #photo #mentalwellbeing #walking

The Honnister Slate Mine Infinity bridge. The place is incredible. Situated in a lovely part of the Lakes with an amazing cafe and a really nicely stocked shop selling all sorts! I would however recommend booking a few of the experiences or get a day pass. We thought it was all included however turns out we drove 3 hours to spend about 20 minutes doing the bridge (I didn’t book it!) The Via Ferrata looked like decent fun and you can cut about the mines on ziplines and all that good stuff. Thank you for having us @honister_slate_mine We also really looked out with the weather! @the_explore_club @_hiking_collective @trails_and_adventures @the_explore_club @team_adventure_uk @summit_adventures_uk @peakybaggersuk @wildcamping_feature @hiking_agenda @alpsport.co #honnisterslatemine

I would rather forget my tent than my camp Crocs when out for a wild one šŸ‘Œ Plenty of adventures to be shared this year, and the Crocs will feature on a lot of them and I am fine with it. #wildcamping #wildcampinguk #bushcraft #crocs

Mad to think that god knows how many people@would have seen this sunrise, however as I was the only person at the summit of Yr Wyddfa, I was the only one seeing it from this high up. The first and probably last time I’ll ever have the summit to myself. Always worth the ungodly hour that the alarm starts kicking off. #mountains #yrwyddfa #eryri #getoutside #enjoylife #hiking adventuremore #wales
