Introducing the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS, which I am very pleased to announce I will be running as a long-term test bike for @motorcyclenews across 2026 🏁 I’ve had the keys for a week, and managed to squeeze in around 300 miles and we’re already getting on a treat! A few weeks ago, I popped over to Bologna for an exclusive first look at the stunning new Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario.
Headline figures include a 243.6bhp output in track trim, with a wet weight of 167kg without fuel. On the road, you’ll have to make do with 224.9bhp and 173kg - that’s 3kg less than a standard Ducati Scrambler 🤯

Very sad to report that the final update on my time with the Yamaha R9 can be found in the current issue of @motorcyclenews 😭
It’s been incredibly reliable, rewarding, and - despite what the internet might tell you - it absolutely does work as a modern supersport motorcycle.
I wouldn’t mind a bit more punch at the bottom end, and some of the paint was a touch thin, but it put up with commuting, trackdays, a tour, and even a spot of hill climb action.
No warning lights, no faff, just reliable fun. I’ll miss it a great deal.

Another #EICMA show done and dusted. Not a blockbuster year for many (unsurprising given last year’s shift to Euro5+), but hugely interesting to see the rapid innovation and development now coming from China and India. Bike of the show has to go to the CFMoto V4 SR-RR concept - not something I would’ve said a few years ago!
