‘Terrestrial Extra’ at The Dorsky Museum of Art curated by Alta Budin and Craig Monteith, includes four of my leather and machine part sculptures. My work examines how technology shapes human bodies and environments, particularly as those systems become embedded in how we live and move through the world. I reverse the interior and exterior of things-physical and conceptual- making sculptures that expose what is typically concealed beneath functional surfaces. I think about machines not as neutral tools, but as systems that produce lasting physical, biological, and environmental consequences.
