In one brief moment during ministration, our GMD’s @steph_ade mic went out… and without overthinking it, I just responded to the nudge to release a sound. Most people probably didn’t even notice what happened until the sound team stepped in to switch the mic… and honestly, moments like this remind me that ministry is beyond skill and preparation alone. Sensitivity matters. Sometimes the assignment is simply to discern and respond in the moment. Still reflecting through this month of May as I count down to my birthday on the 29th. This past Sunday, I was called on last minute by my MD to lead worship with my Trumpet 🎺 . It was a privilege I didn’t take lightly. It wasn’t planned, but I prepared quickly and stepped in. And right in the middle of it, I was reminded again that God is always orchestrating things beyond our preparation. And without planning it, I found myself playing “There are kings, there are kingdoms…” In that moment, it didn’t fully register at first… until I realized it was the exact sound Apostle first had me play over the church around this same period in May last year. The same sound that marked one of the moments where everything began for me here. There are moments you cannot script. Moments where God quietly reminds you that He has been intentional about your journey all along. As I continue this reflection and count down to my birthday on the 29th of May, I’ll be sharing a few of these moments daily… May has carried a lot of meaning for me. This is day 2 of 15. There is no coincidence in this Kingdom. Only Kairos. 🔥 Thank you Lord for @officialdaviddam Grateful for the calls that set this in motion @steph_ade @loveabolade_ @ccw_global ❤️ What a privilege it is to serve.
