Dami Mojid breaks down what it means to design with intention—where storytelling, research, and visuals meet.Through Green Faces, he explores the depth of Nigeria’s history across all 36 states, translating culture, memory, and untold stories into compelling illustrations that both Nigerians and non-Nigerians can connect with. From discovering stories like Princess Inikpi of Kogi, to reimagining familiar cultural moments, his work reflects a deeper truth—people still care about where they come from. This project goes beyond art. It’s about documentation, representation, and contributing to a visual archive in a country where stories are often under-preserved. With collaboration at the core of his process, Dami shows that meaningful work doesn’t have to be done alone and that design can be both beautiful and impactful. Have you ever come on anything quite like this extravagant generosity of God, this deep, deep wisdom? It’s way over our heads. We’ll never figure it out. Is there anyone around who can explain God? Anyone smart enough to tell him what to do?Anyone who has done him such a huge favor that God has to ask his advice? Everything comes from him; Everything happens through him; Everything ends up in him. Always glory! Always praise! Romans 11: 33-36 MSG
