soft soft softer
soft soft softer explores pleasure and joy as relational and contextual phenomena - emerging between bodies, gazes, and social norms. The project is grounded in the question of how pleasure becomes visible, negotiated, or contested depending on configurations of bodies, social roles, and cultural expectations.
The work also reflects on mechanisms of visibility: who has the right to look, who is allowed to be seen, and how the act of observing itself shapes relations of power and exposure. Istanbul - the city where the project is being developed - provides a natural context for examining how relationships between bodies, attention, and presence are organized.
We invite audiences to join the event as active participants - co-creators of the dynamics of looking, being seen, and collectively negotiating pleasure.

For the second time, I am a recipient of the National Recovery Plan scholarship, which allows me to continue my choreographic research in Istanbul. “Istanbul: a choreographic project” is a natural continuation of my collaboration with Aslı Bostancı and Melih Kıraç, initiated in 2024.
We are currently working on a choreographic form that will premiere in Istanbul at the end of February. If you’re interested in the process, I will be sharing fragments of rehearsals and research along the way. More information about the project will be shared gradually.
The scholarship supports not only the artistic work, but also professional development: workshops, a rehearsal process leading to the premiere, a specialized Turkish language course, and training in social media communication.
Funded by the European Union under NextGenerationEU.
It feels right.

Once upon a time, there was my dark summer. Today, autumn feels lighter, the darkness has passed. And though I know it might come again, I want to leave a note here for my future self: this passes. :) Photo by angel @beste1gram
