For Taylor’s Oscars Red Carpet look, we always like to keep her looking effortless and fresh because she already has fabulous hair to begin with. She loves hair that moves and not too stiff so BioTech Blowout is the perfect foundation to enhance her style.
I started on wet hair with a dime-size amount of BioTech Blowout working it through in sections from mid-shaft to ends, adding more in areas where I think it needed a bit more and working into her crown and hair line.
I then detangled in sections and loved how the Biotech Blowout had enough slip to work through and tangles.
I then gave her a voluminous blowout with a large ceramic round brush to give her some bounce and smooth out her texture.
Once I completed her blow out I used a large wand with large sections, about the same size of the iron, wrapped around the iron in alternating directions to give her that “effortless” look.
I went in with a flat iron to touch up any areas that needed it. Biotech protects up to 450 degrees so I didn’t have to worry about causing any damage.
I then used a wide tooth comb to brush out the waves once they cooled and finished the look with texture spray and a flexible hold hairspray.
and that’s it! Effortless red carpet style.
