A sold-out screening of the smash hit SINNERS brought the Paramount Theater to life as audiences experienced Ryan Coogler’s bold directorial vision and Miles Caton’s breakout performance.
Caton recevied the VAFF Achievement in Film Music Award, and following the film, he joined Vulture’s Roxana Hadadi for an engaging conversation about the film’s emotional depth and how his lifelong journey as a musician and performer shaped his portrayal of Sammie Moore.
The evening closed with Caton’s performance of “Traveling,” and the soulful original song from the film’s soundtrack earned a rousing standing ovation from the audience.
