Screenwriters and the Dallas International Film Festival with James Faust, Artistic Director of DIFF "Where storytellers and audiences gather" That's the first statement on the homepage of the @wearediffdallas website, and an essential concept for screenwriters to understand. So, how appropriate that as DIFF celebrates its 20th anniversary, with its 2026 edition running from April 23-30, DSA will be joined by the festival's artistic director, @jamesfaustdallasfilm . A little over a week before DIFF's Opening Night, James will talk to DSA all about the festival, its Screenwriting Competition, and what DIFF does during the other 51 weeks of the year. All of it geared toward screenwriters. The meeting will be in-person, live with James on Tuesday, April 14th from 7:00-9:00pm. We will be at @kdconservatory , at its NEW location at *13465 Midway Road, Farmers Branch, TX 75244. Meet in the Black Box Theatre. As part of the benefits of a DSA membership, the meeting is FREE to Members. For guests, it will be $10, which can be paid at the door, preferably by cash. So click on the link in our bio to become a 2026 member, if you're not one already. Also, check out the Dallas International Film Festival website (diffdallas.org/diff) for info, passes, schedules, and more. Then, get ready to fest April 23rd-30th! #screenwriting #screenwriter #filmmaking #filmindallas #festival
