Another film from the @Amazon #RightNowClimateFund series with @tinderflint
In 2023, Amazon contributed $1 million (INR 83 million) to a three-year project with the Centre for Wildlife Studies to help protect wildlife and support rural communities in the Western Ghats. As farmland and forests increasingly overlap, animals venture into croplands in search of food, leading to rising conflict.
The initiative supports 2,000 family farms in planting and maintaining 300,000 fruit-bearing, timber, and medicinal trees that do not attract wildlife, helping restore native forest buffers and safe corridors. By linking conservation with this type of sustainable agriculture, the project helps reduce conflict, restore ecosystems, and generate new income opportunities for rural communities across southern India—showing how people and wildlife can thrive together.

New-ish work for @tinderflint and @amazon shot on the #DJIRonin4D #CanonFDs and #Helios
Filmed on location in Melbourne, Australia for @Amazon this short documentary shows another story from their “Right Now Climate Fund”. This particular collaboration with the Odonata Foundation funds several conservation activities including breeding programs boosting population numbers, maintenance of wildlife sanctuaries, the movement of animals between sites, and educational tours raising public awareness about endangered species conservation.
This is Amazon’s first Australian project funded through its Right Now Climate Fund, a $100 million initiative supporting climate resilience and nature conservation in communities around the world. Since the fund was created in 2019, Amazon has disbursed US$67.4 million to finance 20 projects across 15 countries.

Shame on me for not getting this gentleman’s name. This lovely man made sure me and @tl.film got to where we needed to go on the water whilst shooting in #Mumbai last month.
