First test post processing TPU. So far this really isn’t much different than PLA. Definitely if you need the piece to flex a lot, different materials than what I used here would be needed. But as stated in the video, most if not all the pieces that I’ve printed in TPU don’t really need to flex. I just need them to be durable. I need to get some matte black and I’ll be getting some additional primers and paints to test with. I really hated to do the part 2 thing, but this was already long video and I need to go get some matte black.

Seriously what is everyone’s obsession with multi material supports lately?? It feels like the new 3D printing fad. My conspiracy theory is that Bambu Labs has bots commenting on support videos to push the concept of multi material supports so more people will look into getting an X2D. Sure multi material supports has its use cases but not every single print that uses supports needs that.

Infill: Gyroid
Infill Density: 5%
Nozzle Temp: 235
Bed Temp: 50 (Initial 60)
Outer wall speed: 80 mm/s
Inner wall and infill speed: 100 mm/s
Top z support distance: .45mm
Interface layer: 3
Retraction distance: 1.5 mm
Retraction speed: 25

As always - your results may vary. I share my settings bc I don’t like to gate-keep - however what works for me doesn’t mean it will work for everyone.
