Being in character was a bit challenging, but I embraced it wholeheartedly because I was representing with pride.
Behold the elegance of the Tiv woman, the sacred “Ajigber dance”. Draped in our iconic “black and white” I wear the story of our people; black for our resilient strength, white for our enduring peace.
Adorned with “beads of honor” and “cowries of prosperity”, this attire mirrors the rhythmic grace of the Benue waters. I do not just wear an outfit I carry a legacy of elegance and tradition that flows from generation to generation.
