Some of you have been coming along on my musical journey for a while now (thank you!❤️) and some of you have just come aboard (welcome! 🤗) For some time now I’ve been releasing songs in different language-versions. It’s been such an interesting and challenging process to write and sing in these different languages and it’s so much fun to release these songs one by one (still a lot more to come!). It’s something I started doing out of love and curiosity. I love languages and learning languages and it’s been (and still is) such a fabulous way to connect with people in/from different countries.
Now I’m curious: could you comment or DM me which language of the four mentioned above you’d prefer my next single to be in? I’m so curious to find out what your preferences are (if you have any)! 🙏❤️

Dare to be curious and dare to make choices. That’s what I’m trying to say in this Italian song (Laggiù). I’m so glad Marco and I did when we chose to make a home in Alentejo, Portugal. It’s not without it’s challenges but who said it has to be? ❤️

This song is a conversation with myself 😅 about being honest when something isn’t working, about giving myself “tough love.” And even though the words aren’t tender, I chose to sing the song in a tender way. I love that kind of contrast.

I’m currently back in The Netherlands to rehearse and perform with @the_bullfight . 🎉 We have many concerts coming up later this year, but only one is scheduled for this month: @torpedotheater (Amsterdam) on Saturday April 11th, 20:00. There’s a small amount of tickets left, so if you’re in the area..don’t miss it! 😁

There’s usually quite a bit of waiting involved around doing concerts, but I actually really enjoy the whole process!
