And we’re coming back with BIG ENERGY.
After an unexpected hiatus while I was hospitalized, along with giving birth to my daughter + a NICU journey, I’m so excited (and grateful) to finally say this: Daisy Baked It Cake + Sip events are officially returning — and the vibes are about to be immaculate. 🎂🥂 We have two events coming up in February and March, and we want you to be in attendance for our big comeback 💕
✨ IMPORTANT INFO:
If you had tickets to the November Cake + Sip events (Baddies Who Brunch or Friendsgiving), those specific events will not be rescheduled. However, ticket holders will have priority access to transfer their tickets to one of the upcoming Cake + Sip events or request a refund or credit for another event. You’ll have through Monday to make your selection before tickets open to the public. I will send an email this evening with all of this information, so be on the lookout!

Watching you be a father has made me love you even more. The way you love our children, the way you show up for Rashad as your own, the way you adore Ryan and Remi, and the way you carried our family through one of the hardest seasons of our lives with Raina… I’ll never have the words for what that meant to me 🥹

And what’s so special is that on our wedding day, we both wrote in our vows - separately, without knowing - that we made each other feel like home.

This Mother’s Day feels different.
Six months ago, I was in the hospital fighting to keep my daughter safe after going into preterm labor. I spent six long weeks away from my children, praying every single day that God would protect my baby and give me the strength to keep going. Then came the hardest part… leaving the hospital without her and watching my tiny baby fight through five weeks in the NICU.
There were moments of fear, exhaustion, heartbreak, and uncertainty. But motherhood has taught me something powerful: a mother’s love has no limits.
Now six months later, life looks so different. My children are healthy, growing, beautiful, and constantly reminding me what truly matters. I wear many hats in this life, but being a mother will always be my greatest joy.
Motherhood has stretched me, softened me, strengthened me, and transformed me into the woman I am today. I truly would not be who I am without my children ♥️ Rashād, Ryan, Remi, and Raina… Mommy loves you more than you could ever imagine 🥹
So today, I celebrate every kind of mother.
Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in the trenches, the NICU moms, the single moms, the grieving moms, the women longing to become mothers, the bonus moms, the exhausted moms, the healing moms, and the women carrying love in their hearts no matter what their journey looks like.
