Happy birthday to my beautiful mama @crosemarywoodward , the definition of sunshine, kindness, bravery, silliness, and endless love. How lucky we are to have you đ
Skies of 2025 in chronological order âď¸ đł
From work and solo wanderings in Geneva and Oslo to giggle-filled seaside sojourns in Margate and Achiltibuie. Trips to see my Berlin and Edinburgh bbs, treasured family times in France and BC, and a special visit to two cuties in Richmond, VA. Topped off by some đ¤ end-of-year moments in Peckham, Wales and Twickers.
Midweek moodz as the 4pm dusk, 9am sleet, and cosy festive feels kick in.

17 years yesterday since we lost my dear old dad â strange how time helps you learn to shoulder grief a little better each year, but the sense of missing someone grows stronger and stronger every year that you havenât seen their face, heard their laugh or sat down for lunch (his most cherished ritual) and a good old chat⌠One thing is for sure, losing someone too soon (or at any time, in fact) is the biggest wake up call to live life to the fullest and, in my dadâs case, make every lunch count!
Ps. I chose this song as my dadâs favourite game was to choose a song and replace the word âloveâ with âlunchâ. This one is a cracker.

I spoke to the brilliant @benkweller for @thecreativeindependent about his latest album, Cover the Mirrors. He wrote it in the wake of the devastating loss of his son Dorian, and it is such a powerful and beautiful work, made up of all the different moods and shades of grief. As a longtime fan of Benâs music, this interview was a particularly meaningful one for me, and I was very moved by Benâs candidness and kindness, and his outlook on life and creativity. Link in my bio to read. Thank you @bstosuy for the commission.
Happy 50th birthday to my big brother @samueldwoodward â from our very first meeting (seen here) until now, youâve always been there for me with the biggest heart and the best hugs. Love you very much đ
For the latest issue of @qpmagazine , I had the opportunity to profile the British artist and brilliant thinker Tacita Dean, hooked to her show at the @menilcollection â one of my favourite art collections. A real pleasure all round đ
The many, many unforgettable and haunting moments of David Lynchâs cinema... imagery in which costume and make-up play an absolutely central part.
Here just a reminder of the iconic creations by some of the artists who made magic with Lynch over the years.
As @daisyaecw wrote for @anothermagazine , Lynch specially valued the costume and production designer Patricia Norris, noting: âPatty reads the scripts and dials into the character and dresses them, she has great taste ... When someone comes out of the dressing room, they are the character, the clothes are perfect.âÂ
