1. Track your runner properly
Signal is unreliable on race day. Use Find My iPhone or an AirTag instead.
2. Screenshot your route
Save your spectator route and cheer points on Citymapper the day before.
3. Bring the essentials
This is where you win. Order everything & more that you will need via @bootsuk on @ubereats_uk , plus extras you can share with your runner post-marathon.
4. Plan your viewing spots
You won’t see them everywhere, so be strategic:
Greenwich (10k): reliable sighting, great energy
Canary Wharf: key moment, arrive early
Embankment: final stretch, strong atmosphere, good visibility
5. Lock in your meet-up
Agree on a side of the road and a clear finish point. You’ll both want an easy exit.
