Introducing: @futurefullstories !
Some of you are new here, and some of you know Ive been working on this for a minute, but Im excited to announce Futurefull — an experimental community supporting interactive storytelling about better futures and the roads we take to get there.
We’re launching with an intimate evening celebrating Queer and BIPOC voices in the TTRPG on Saturday, Nov 22nd from 6-9pm at @christchurchneighborhoodhouse in Old City, and I can’t wait to see you all there as we figure Futurefull out together!
🎲 We’ve got a panel of award-nominated creators in the TTRPG space including heycalamityyy, @bruthaqueon , @4evergmjustin , and @candacethemagnificent , hosted by @vampirehimbo
🪘PLUS you’ll be able to ACTUALLY PLAY in our communal actual play of my new game Olamina, with musical support from Ale Utria of @sonrevolturaphilly and the LEGENDARY @karensmithdrums … its gonna be a great night!

Really proud of the brand relaunch for @thedownload.news , a news organization that’s making room, making noise, and making ways for Black Philadelphia!
We worked together at every step to build a visual identity that instantly reads as “Black Philly”; develop and deploy a a fresh website that blends multiple kinds of storytelling; and graphics that tie the presence on social to impact IRL.

Artists making work that explores audience interaction come together at 6pm on March 28th, spend the night and the next day playing (jamming, collaborating, hyperfocusing, meandering, learning, teaching, sleeping) and emerge at 3pm on March 29th exhausted, exhilarated, and boasting a new (evolved, mutated, reworked, torn apart) piece of art to test with an audience.
It’s the newest, most sleep-deprived evolution of our Let’s Play: Interactive Works-in-Progress series, collaboratively created by us and our incredibly skilled, creative, & mold-breaking friends!

🚀 WHAT AN OPENING!
I’m still beaming from launching the Space Opera rocket with our premiere at @historicasmh this past Saturday. We had an incredible time — sang some songs, rolled some dice, told some stories.
And it’s not lost on me that while the military celebrated itself mere blocks from our venue, and half our city took to the streets in protest, we came together to work together and tell stories about cooperation and solidarity in the phase of oppressive demands. I’m so grateful to everyone that came out, and I can’t wait to share how your choices impact our story over the next two episodes — it’s just gonna get better from here ❤️🔥
