Not to get too off brand for a guy who only posts mid grade pedal steel solos, but if you don’t know, today is @julianna.daines birthday and I’m one stupid lucky guy to get to call her my wife (as evidenced by her not minding me working on these Dwight Yoakam breaks all morning). No amount of gushing would do justice what an amazing wife, mother, friend, travel companion, walking library, and animal lover she is, so here are pictures of her doing those things all while being effortlessly stylish and breathtaking.
Been cooped up with the Rona the past few days. Lots of time to make drunk cat noises. Looking forward to making more of them with all the twangs and zings in Reno for offbeat at chapel on October 7th. Name the solo for a chance to win an emoji of a smiley face looking real cool with sunglasses.
By the power of Grayskull, tall order booking, and our powers combined I will rejoin forces with this ragtag band of champions July 7-9th. Would love to be there for all the shows but Bryan Jones said I only get a finite number of pee stops and frankly I just don’t think I can stretch them out enough.
It’s either a testament to the badassery of Albert Lee or proof my ears don’t work so good that it took me a while to tell the difference between Tele and steel in the song.
