#babyhuffman2025 is on the move. First year babies are counted by weeks and at 32 weeks she is 8 months old in February. She loves to crawl and can move from sit to crawl, sitting up on her own and pulling herself up. Everything goes in her mouth so it’s like having a puppy trying to teach them that furniture is not for biting. She is growing up fast! @dahuff and I are working to enjoy every moment. Love to all!

It’s easy to get swept up in the world’s crazy noise and division, but life’s perspective comes quickly when you are busy negotiating with a tiny human who does not understand “personal space” or why 3 AM is not party time.
So Roen and Wyatt have been our much-needed reminder to tune out the chaos, not let it consume our everyday waking (sometimes sleeping) thoughts, and focus on what is right in front of us, HER + a bottle a diaper change or two or a Dog walk 👶🏼🐕🦺🎄✨

Family Portrait Saga: From Vintage to… This?
It started with the original portrait that was timeless, serious, and convincing enough that future generations might assume we were somebody important or at least owned property. Then I asked the obvious GPT question:
What if this same family… were animated?
So now we’re taking votes:
🖤 The Original – tasteful, historic, emotionally sound and classic
📺 South Park – accurate energy, questionable head shapes
🎬 Pixar – suspiciously wholesome, definitely hiding real life trauma
🦴 Flintstones – modern problems, zero solutions and the hair is off.
🧱 Claymation – charming but vaguely unsettling
🤪 Beavis & Butt-Head – unfortunately the most honest and yet still unflattering.
🧩Lego - cube lifestyle-ish. 👻 Scooby-Inspired – would’ve gotten away with it if we hadn’t merged with the smurf hats
Personally, I think we look like the original…
…but the truth lives somewhere between Pixar optimism and Lego put together nicely.

Ro is 5 months old and every day brings something new. She now rolls from tummy to back, grabbing everything and bringing to her mouth, laughing, squealing, sharing big smiles and sleeping on her tummy - scaring us in the middle of the night! This is four months #babyhuffman2025 who loves cooing, laughing, rolling over, grabbing her toes, and listening to daddy’s “Sandler” talk. First solid food a lemon slice, followed by pizza crust, a celery stalk, pears and butternut squash. Still melts my heart every day. ❤️❤️
