What does it look like to play with the energies inside you?
Join us Sunday, 5/31, for Alignment, a dynamic experience exploring how masculine and feminine energy show up in all of us, in every aspect of life.
Not a lecture. Not a workshop. A space to explore, connect, and have some fun with it.
Our healing doesn’t have to be heavy. And this one is for everybody: men, women, and everyone in between.
Bring your whole crew.
It’s going down at 651 Arts at 2pm.
RSVP @ menawhealing.com or the link in bio.
Doors open 2:00 PM •
Program starts 2:15 PM Sharp
Continuing the family traditions…we all get to enjoy the yard, so we all put in work. A great honor to still be able to be outside with my parents, while showing my daughters that they are strong and capable (same way their brother learned it, too).
What does emotional courage look like for men? This month at The Medicine Potluck, we’re unpacking emotional and embodied awareness—over food, drink, and real conversation.
Come get your medicine this Saturday. Bring a dish. Bring a friend.

It’s time to gather the men once again, to share real connection, care, and commitment to healing over food and drink. However, in 2026 we are getting to the work. Real facilitated guidance for internal healing. The Medicine is the monthly potluck gathering you’ve been waiting for. All men are welcome. Come and tap in around this month’s topic. Come and get your Medicine.
It can be a challenge to express your full professional identity, especially when you do so many things. For a long time, I felt I had to choose between being an Editor, a Facilitator, or a Creative Technologist.
But we are in a new age with new tools that aid in the challenge of definition. Whether utilizing AI to refine narratives or using sociocracy to build better agreements, I believe in using every tool available to tell a more complete story.
I’m happy to announce the launch of **dahkillah.com**.
It serves as a hub for my various talents—from editing commercials to facilitating men’s healing circles—and demonstrates how they all serve the same purpose: empowering people through story and structure. You can also explore my current workshop offerings for organizations and families.
Peace.
We heal in rooms where our stories are welcome.
This month at The Check In, we’re gathering to discuss Story As Medicine—the power of being heard and hearing each other. What we tell ourselves and others can often either hurt or heal us.
We invite you to this intentional virtual space. All men are welcome. Bring a friend. Spread the word. Check In.
Tuesday 2/3 at 7pm EST /4pm PST RSVP today. ➡️menawhealing.com
Men… Stop Playing Lone Wolf

You don’t have to go it alone.
No shame.
If you need support.
Most of us really do care and want to see you win.
So let us support you.
We love you.

What better way to start off the new year than in the presence of community? Join us for our first Medicine potluck for 2026 right in Brooklyn. Our topic of discussion: Discipline as Devotion is definitely one you don’t want to miss. We understand the importance of these gatherings and to honor it you can join us for The Medicine every month moving forward.
So come through, bring a dish and bring a brother. Each one bring one. That’s how we all get well. RSVP at menawhealing.com to hold your spot. They are limited.
Earlier this year, La Familia Project gathered a powerful group of artists, healers, educators, and community leaders for our Colors of Wellness Panel.
And then… life happened.
This year asked a lot of us individually and collectively. Rather than rush this release, we chose to honor where we were at. Because wellness isn’t about productivity it’s about listening. To ourselves, to our communities, and to the moment.
This conversation asked essential questions for us:
What is wellness beyond performance and profit?
How does it show up in community spaces particularly within communities of color?
And what happens when care is co-opted, branded, and sold instead of practiced collectively?
We also named the reality of barriers to accessing quality wellness and health resources and why that matters.
Because wellness is for everyone.
We’re sharing this now as we close the year and imagine what care can look like moving forward — and how it can live in real, embodied ways.
