Surprisingly this is either the first or second portrait I’ve ever done of Jesus. This piece was a lot of fun, when a client sends you the perfect reference photo everything just works, good things can be created.

Some clients want complete removal.
Some want to lighten the tattoo for a cleaner cover-up.
Some aren’t even sure what direction they want to go yet, and that’s completely okay.
That’s why tattoo artists and tattoo removal specialists should work hand in hand 🤝
The earlier we can communicate and create a plan together, the better the outcome usually is.
Whether that means fading the tattoo enough for more cover-up options, improving the final result, or deciding removal is the better path altogether.
