Paintings for
@le.dedale.belves with help from
@eltonolab done in the grounds of the Belvés Library garden. 1.Repeating the dimensions of that unpainted inset square (middle right, see?) 2.With markings & no numbers, on what’s called a story stick, attached different ways to this level, produced everything for the painting. The colors I raided from Eltono’s storage, so the palette is largely borrowed. 3.These crescents are all drawn with foci on a single line - the line makes the shape of the neighboring wall, as a funny way to hide information. 4.I wonder if some people can see patterns like that? From a jumble of circles one could see their centers and they line up to suggest a hidden image? 5.First time I’d made a “crayon” type roller in foam. 6.Then around the corner, a little exercise with the glitch roller, trying new things, like skipping around instead of painting sequentially.
Big thanks to Tono and
@manoir_de_la_moissie residency where I was luxuriating while doing this most scenic and enjoyable artwork, just a stones throw away.
